I've helped take care of my family's dogs ever since I was a little kid. I grew up with a large Golden Retriever named Maggie, and she was the best. I loved taking care of her. After she passed, my parents got two Maltese puppies named Gracie and Piper, and I was often involved in watching and caring for them, especially when we traveled with them. In the past few years, I've been responsible for helping to feed and take care of my parent's dogs Beau and Bibi during the pandemic. I have lots of experience with puppies and older dogs due to my background of growing up with dogs. Past clients on Rover have included a Boxer, Pomeranians, Russell Terriers, Poodle, German Shorthaired Pointer, a few cats, and even chickens and tortoises! I'm prepared to adjust and meet the needs of your pets, whether they need lots of play and exercise or someone to cuddle and comfort them.

Steven has walked my dog for 3 months now. He is always on time & has been willing to accommodate last minute changes. He’s great with my boxer who is rambunctious, timid at first & also has leash aggression. Before/after the walk he makes sure to hang out with her so she can eat & have some time out of the crate. Your dog will be in great hands. We work with Steven 3 days a week and will continue as long as he lets us!

I’m an experienced dog-sitter on Rover. When some of my clients needed to change the dates of their trip, I let them know that I’d have a friend in town during that time, and they said bring him along! So Steven and I tag-teamed during a house-sitting stay that involved two elderly labs and an extremely energetic lab puppy. He was the best dog-sitting partner I could have asked for – responsible, hard-working, and the animals loved him. The eldest often gets less attention because of the demands of a 6 month old puppy, and he made her whole weekend with all the extra pets she got! She became very attached to him and followed him everywhere. He was gentle but firm with the puppy (who is still learning how to listen!), took the dogs on walks, and made sure to leave the house thoroughly clean. The owners were very happy and made sure to thank him for coming along!

I do dog sitting and dog walking full-time, and have a flexible schedule, so I'll be ready and available to help with your pet's needs! You won't have to worry about your pets while you're on vacation or attending an event or needing someone to walk your dog while you're at work.
