Keeping dogs happy and healthy
Pet care experience
Since I got my dog I've become extremely passionate about improving the health and quality of life for all dogs. I've learned a lot in the past few years and I'm looking forward to actively engaging and encouraging good behavior in our canine friends through positive reinforcement training. A dog ought to be physically engaged with play-time and mentally engaged with sniff work and training. I think all dogs are in a constant state of improvement and we should always be striving to better understand our canine companions whilst training them to better handle the situations thrown at them. Compassion and learning are our best tools to better the lives of owners and our furry friends. I strive to always be learning more about canine behavior and new training techniques that could be useful.
Reviews
Steven was great with my puppy and flexible with my schedule. I’ll definitely book again!
Steven will be a great fit to become a dog sitter because he is responsible, understanding, caring and very passionate about his passion for dogs.

Information Steven M. would like to know about your pet
Before meeting a dog, I'd like to know a small bit about the dog's history. A couple main things I'd like to know are: -Bite History -Possible triggers -Degree of socialization -Any health concerns -Level of training
A typical day
When walking dogs, I like to roam around parks and neighborhoods. I feel this gives the dogs more to smell and engage with. A bonus would be running into strangers (if the dog is social) and building further social skills. Some fun activities I enjoy doing with dogs are -Simple low impact exercise for dogs with bone or joint problems -Fast paced exercised for those wild dogs with more energy than they can possibly use -Small intervals of basic training to keep the dog engaged and consistently improving their behavior and temperament
