I've always loved dogs, and that probably comes with never having one of my own. Growing up, all my best friends had dogs and I would love them and play with them as if they were my own. On two occasions, my good friend/neighbor went on 10-day vacations and I would go over to feed/play with the dogs 3 times a day. I'm an active young man who goes to the gym 4-5 times a week, so I have lots of energy for dogs. I am very responsible and friendly. I have been employed by my local restaurant for almost 4 years and I worked my way from dishwasher to busboy to food runner to waiter. I just passed my third semester of college at URI with straight A's and now have a cumulative GPA of 3.1 (I had a rough first semester academically). And as stated above, I've always loved dogs, big or small. My girlfriend always comments on how we could be walking together and she'll be mid-sentence and I'll interrupt and say "aww look at how cute that dog is!" Every time, she jokingly says "It's almost like you love dogs more than you love me" and we've been dating for over 2 1/2 years! But anyways, I think I would make a great dog sitter simply because of my love for dogs. Feeding, playing, and cleaning up after dogs doesn't intimidate me because I just want to make sure the dog is happy.
