Hi! I am Steven and I am the landlord of a 6 bedroom home in San Jose. It is a lively home inhabited by a Siberian Husky and an orange tabby cat. All of my tenants have been here for a year plus and love animals since that is a condition I search for during the tenant interview process. My weekly regime involves: 1) Daily 2.5 mile morning runs with my Husky. 2) Meal prep all her meals. I don't feed her junk kibble and am very conscious of her nutrition and health. I am a fitness and nutrition nerd and that attention has shifted to how I care for my pets. 3) I take my dog out a few times a week to public settings to socialize with other humans and dogs (mainly Santana Row, dog parks and doggie dates). 4) I will take my Husky out for an evening run if I come back from work or class and find her restless with energy. About my home: 1) 6 bedroom house with enclosed backyard and home security with cameras and sensors. Your pet will be inside if nobody is home. I will not lock your pet in a kennel unless specifically requested. My home is almost always occupied by a human so they will almost always have human interaction (and always have animal interaction with my two pets). My cat stays in my bedroom so it is NOT necessary that your dog gets along with cats. I've had dogs stay here that don't get along with cats - I simply keep my cat in my bedroom 24/7 safe and protected. 2) I have managed this home successfully for 4+ years and keep it very clean. The only mess is the absurd amount of dog toys laying around since everybody here spoils my dog with toys. 3) Everybody that lives here is an animal lover. There are 3 females and 3 males living here. We are all in our twenties and work and go to school as students. I am the oldest one. About me and how I will care for your dog 1) You provide the food and feeding schedule and I will adhere to it. 2) I will include your pet with Juno (my Siberian Husky) wherever I go such as morning exercise, doggie dates, dog parks, walks around Santana Row, unless specifically requested not to. If your dog cannot keep up with Juno, I will take them out for runs individually. I have had Rover stays where I did back to back to back runs with 3 dogs. 3) Let me know if your dog does not get along with cats so I can separate the two. I will let your dog roam everywhere except my bedroom where my cat stays.
