Pet care experience
We are two Harvard PhDs (one in clinical psychology, one in environmental chemistry) with two very dog-like cats of our own living in in the Mission near Castro. We’ve grown up with pets (primarily dogs and cats) our entire lives! We’ve been go-to pet sitters for many friends, family members, mentors, and colleagues for years due to our diligence, timeliness, and careful attention to details. Rest assured there’s very little we can’t handle!

Steven and Bridger were incredible!!! My cat is usually very shy around new people but she was instantly comfortable around Steven and Bridger, which I think speaks to what wonderful people they are. They were totally reliable and communicated regularly. They were also very thoughtful and proactive around not only caring for my kitty but they also took upon themselves to water plants. I am so grateful to have had them as sitters and will absolutely rebook them whenever I need a sitter. I can’t recommend Steven & Bridger highly enough!
Steven is one of the best pet sitters we have ever had for our two dogs (Australian Shepherds). He is very gentle, attuned and loving with the animals in his care. He clearly enjoys spending time playing and hanging out with them and that joy is reciprocated! Steven is especially attentive to details around special diets, walking expectations, and safety for our dogs. He is also very neat and tidy; our home and dogs never look better than when he has cared for them! Steven is always responsible when caring for our dogs. If an issue/questions arises, he contacts us for guidance and then does whatever is called for in the situation. We always feel most comfortable about traveling when Steven is able to be our pet sitter. We know our dogs are in great hands! Your pets will be too! Laura B

We live near Mission Dolores Park and so exploring the park, extended walks, playing fetch, and running are some of the activities we would likely do with your pup.

Availability
We are typically quite flexible throughout the week and are good about updating availability as needed based on other work. Though we both work full time, we primarily work from home with extremely flexible hours. So, rest assured that if you book us, your pet is our priority!
