Pet care experience
My husband Robert (black hat) and I have had a total of 18 pets over 36 years. And those cats and dogs came in many shapes, colors, and sizes. We've cared for puppies and kittens along with adults and yes, senior animals. Some of our pets had health conditions that naturally occur over time lending us first hand experience with administering pills and injections. Now without any pets of our own we are able and willing to share our skills and knowledge with other pet owners. We have a deep fondness for all pets and intend to provide you reassurance and piece of mind when you're not home.
Reviews
As always Steve & Robert went over and above to care for our pets. We very much appreciate their dedication. Thanks again!
Steve and Robert took such great care of my babies! I was out of town for longer than usual and I was comforted knowing that my two cats were in such great hands! They went above and beyond! Thank you so much!
Another great experience with Steve & Robert. Thanks again guys!
Robert and Steve are the best sitters! Our dogs love them and we really appreciate the care they provide. Thanks again for taking such good care of our pups.

We often have more than one client appointment on any day especially around holidays. We do ask you to allow us a minimum one hour window of time to arrive at your home. Regardless of arrival time we will always stay the amount of time you booked. The Rover app actually keeps track of our time while on-site. We do our best to help maintain your pet's normal schedule. During the Meet & Greet appointment, we will collect the necessary information to ensure the best experience for your pet(s). All pets must be current on their Rabies vaccine. We have our Covid vaccines and boosters. Don't be surprised if we are wearing masks for a Meet & Greet even now.
Information Steve & Robert M. would like to know about your pet
We appreciate any medical or temperament information that will help us be more successful with your pet. Do we need to administer any medications? Does your pet not get along with other pets? Squirrel! Did I lose you? Of course things like name, age, and mix are always helpful. The more we know the better we can treat your pet.
A typical day
Our primary objective is your pet's safety and comfort. It's important you request the correct service for your pet's needs. Any time meal preparation is involved it means less time to spend outside, etc. We will prioritize the tasks you want done during an appointment. Any spare time will be go toward playtime and/or light grooming. This is more a consideration for 'Drop-in visits' where time is limited.

Availability
Because neither of us adheres to a 9 to 5 job, any day is a good day to look after your pet. We will gladly provide an estimate for the services need. We do not offer mid-day dog walking services. And typically we don't remain in your home during the work day. We can do a "well check" around lunchtime. So if you have a fenced yard we'll let your dog(s) outside for a bio-break. Unless you have booked us before, we set-up a 'Meet & Greet' so we can get to know each other. That happens before you commit. If you feel we are a good fit then you'll be asked to confirm the on-line booking. Each pet sitting booking covers a 24 hour period. Typically one of us stays at your house overnight from roughly 6pm to 8am. We don't stay in your home during the day time. When dogs are under our care we return mid-day for a 30 minute visit. Anytime we're at your house we can serve pet meals, administer medications, and provide dogs outside breaks. We'll also scoop litter boxes, pick up the yard, bring in the mail, and squeeze in some playtime. Our drop-in services typically occur between 11am and 3pm.
