Growing up with nine brothers and sisters we all loved and nurtured our many family pets; from German Shepherds to Rabbits, Guinea Pigs, Cats, Ducks and Fish. To me dogs are especially important. They each have a personality of their own and we people sometimes learn nice things from them ... "man's best friend". Anyhow, dogs that I meet are always a fun experience to get to know them and understand their demeanor. In caring and speaking to them I enjoy the connection and the happiness they bring. Sometimes when walking them I pick up the pace and run to see how athletic they are. Most seem to enjoy the exercise. Finally, I also see a benefit for me, walking and caring for dogs is great therapy, ha.
