Dog & Cat CPR/First Aid Certified Hi y'all! My name is Stephenie. My husband and I have a 3-year old daughter who is surprisingly soft with animals. We love dogs! I'm a stay-at-home mom, so someone is almost always home. Our boxer, Boomer, is around 6/7 years old (born approx. 2011). She was rescued in the beginning of 2013. She barks at new people and dogs, but warms up quickly. She's a BIG kisser. Boomer plays with playful dogs and co-exists with non-playful dogs. We often dog sit for our friends. One family has a 3-year old male-German Shepard who Boomer LOVES. The other has a female-Lab and a male-Chorkie who aren't very doggie-playful and Boomer rarely interacts with them. She's very accommodating. (As of summer 2017, Boomer is starting to show less patience when meeting highly energetic dogs. She is getting older and likes to rest for a good portion of the day. She still loves playing in spurts, but if your pup is non-stop, we MIGHT not be the best fit anymore.) We have medium-large backyard and a dog door in the kitchen. If any dogs need separation from each other, or from our daughter, we can close the kitchen gates and they will have access to the kitchen and dog door/outside. Food and water bowls will be in the kitchen or dining room; and we have 2 large water bowls for outside. I can also separate dogs for meals, if need be. Our days are pretty laid back. We play inside. We play outside. Sometimes we walk to a park 3 blocks away. Our home is smoke+drug-free. I require a Meet-n-Greet so you can meet our daughter and Boomer to make sure your pooch will be comfortable around them. :) We can't wait to meet you and your fur babies!* *We do not speak Spanish (Military discount available.)
