Pet care experience
I've been caring for our family pets since I was five and caring for friends' and neighbors' fur babies for 40 years. I have a love for older pets but am open to all ages. I work with my clients to understand their fur babies' needs and schedules, so there isn't too much disruption.

Stephenie is a wonderfully warm, caring and flexible person. She and I had a dogsitting exchange when we both lived in Texas and I miss relying on her desperately! I never had to worry when my senior dog was in her care. Steph has so much love to give and relishes it freely on people and pets. I can't recommend her highly enough for any pet-care needs.

Does the pet try to sneak out? 7 - Is there anything the pet is scared of or reacts to? 8 - What to do if you need to clean up a mess? Where are the cleaning supplies? What do you use on your floors and carpets? 9 - Is there anything in the house that you need to be aware of? 10 - What should you do if you need to leave for any reason? Is the pet okay to be left for any period of time?
A typical day
Depending on the age of the dog, I love taking them on walks, playing fetch or tug, and petting and loving on them. In preparation for my staying with your dog(s), I will ask the owner a series of questions regarding the pet's preference, walking paths, leash skills, activity limits, and local parks. If the dog is a good car rider and likes to venture out on a hike, I will take them to Lake Padden and several hiking places around Bellingham or near their homes.

Availability
Since I work from home and my schedule is flexible I'm able to care for your fur babies and give them love. This flexibility allows me to travel all over the PNW to support you and your fur baby's needs.
