Coming from the luxury hospitality world, including many years at the Ritz-Carlton, we know how to create an truly enjoyable experience for our guests. In this case, our guest is your loving dog! We are committed to following your instructions to ensure that your love is treated the way he/she deserves to be treated. Clearly, we can't replicate the experience he/she has at home in your loving arms, but we strive to be a close second. Checking in often, paying attention to what your they're telling us, and maintaining a warm and loving home is our priority. With two kids aged 9 and 6, a big fenced-in backyard, and canine friends on either side, our home is the perfect environment to ensure that your loving dog is having the fun suburban vacation that he/she deserves while you're away for work or pleasure. Stephen and his family are the absolute best!! I am so thankful that we found them— our dog’s stay with them was by far the best Rover experience we have all had so far. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for thoughtful, kind folks to watch a pup. Usually when we are out of town and have someone watch our dog, Pepper, I worry and have to nudge the sitter to send us updates. Stephen sent updates (with pictures!) every day, often multiple times per day, so we knew Pepper was happy and doing well throughout her stay. Both of Stephen’s kids were total pros with Pepper, gave her tons of snuggles, and were sad to see her go (so sweet!). I assured them all that Pepper will definitely be returning in the future. :) Thank you so much, again, for treating Pepper as if she were your own dog and keeping us in the loop while we were away!
Boomer had an excellent time with Stephen and his family! He was well taken care of and we received multiple pictures every day. Great sitter!

Both of us grew up with big dogs (German Shepard and Yellow Lab), so we're comfortable with larger breeds (as long as they're gentle towards the kids). We prefer a dog that is well-behaved (within reason, of course!), or at least is familiar with basic commands.
A typical day
We enjoy walking around the neighborhood, with it's stereotypical tree-lined sidewalks, shady grass covered alleys (right behind the house!), and if the weather is nice, a trail that encircles our towns small lake.
