Pet care experience
I have owned a dog for 5 years and have an additional 3 years of experience caring for the dogs of others. I currently own a forty five pound lab boxer mix named Oakland, who I rescued. I work from home most days, and so can promise that your dogs will not be left unattended for even a minute. I do not take dogs which are not house trained unless they are less than 1.

This entire family loves dogs, and will take great care of yours! Nell didn't want to go when we came to pick her up. There was so much space for her to run around and play (and to make friends with her host's very friendly dog, too). We were so glad to get pictures and even a video of Nell enjoying her time here. Very highly recommended.
Stephen and his pup are Wonderful! He went above and beyond with Grits! He took the time to help me when I got lost in his town and sent great videos! Very personable and caring! If I come back to this area and need a sitter, I will use Stephen again!

My preferences are more to do with size than anything. While I do have a large home, in my experience larger dogs (90+ lbs) tend to knock things down quite a bit. As such I do not take dogs over 90lbs, or dogs who are not house trained/ incontinent.
A typical day
I live about 5 minutes from a hiking trail known as section 5 and 10 from a dog park/open field. I alternate between these locations. In terms of fun activities my dog is very playful and will help keep yours entertained.
