What Stephen would like to know about your dog
To build trust with a new pup I speak to them in a soothing voice and allow them to come to me. I also praise them and show them that I am there to protect them. Dogs can be nervous meeting a new sitter so I like to find out any tips the owner has to help quickly build trust between us.
I believe the best way to provide excellent customer service is through communication. Consistent emails and text messages outlining the details of the stay is a great first step. During the stay, sending photos and fun captions to the owners is a great way for them to be part of the experience. After the stay, writing a letter outlining the details of what happened during the stay is a great way to summarize the experience.
