Perfect pupcation!
Pet care experience
My girlfriend and I live together with our golden retriever, Jax. This is my first pet, but my girlfriend has had dogs for almost 20 years. She has also done some pet sitting for friends over the past few years. We take our dog Jax on walks or to the dog park twice a day and always dedicate time to play with him. We work very close to home with reasonably flexible hours. We are able to come home during the workday to check on and let out your dog. On the weekends, we take Jax on hikes and out around Memphis. We make sure to schedule our days around our pets! We live on mud island in a house with a small fenced-in yard and within walking distance of the dog park. Since we have a dog, the house is fully puppy proof and stocked with dog toys and treats. We have a crate that can be used if needed. Our dog is very docile and submissive; he loves to play with all types of dogs and would love if your pet came over to hang out with him!

YOUR DOG DOESN'T DESERVE THIS! They agreed to take care of my dog while I was away, but it seemed like they only wanted to enjoy petting them without taking any responsibility when things went wrong. Stephen's behavior was extremely unprofessional and immature. He was tasked with looking after my dog for nearly two weeks while I was overseas. During our initial meeting, he seemed more interested in how cute my dog was than in understanding her eating and sleeping patterns. On the third day of my trip (I was in a different time zone, eight hours ahead of him.), I woke up to his messages, placing blame on me for my dog's bleeding. He mentioned that this wasn't what he had signed up for and that he couldn't handle the situation and he is not gonna keep doing that!. He described a chaotic scene of blood everywhere in their house, which turned out to be a complete exaggeration. The picture he sent was just a tissue paper with a little blood from my dog's behind. As it turns out, my dog was allergic to what she ate, which resulted in a minor amount of blood in her urine. Despite being aware of the time difference and the urgency of the situation, he chose to send accusatory messages rather than taking appropriate action. His choice of words was offensive, leaving me baffled and confused about what was truly happening. They sent me a picture of my dog looking sad and lying in the corner, raising concerns about possible mistreatment or worse! In the end, I had no choice but to cancel the booking and find an alternative boarding arrangement. When my dog was placed with the new boarder, she appeared stressed and only returned to her normal behavior after three days. Managing this situation during my trip was incredibly stressful. Not only did the previous boarder exhibit unprofessionalism, but they also decided to retain 50% of the payment for the remaining days of care they didn't provide. It was truly the worst experience ever!

Billy always leaves Stephen and Lizzie's house so happy and full of love! They take such great care of him while I'm gone for long periods of time and I can always count on them to provide the best care for my pup. 🫶🏽
Our boys loved their time with Stephen & Elizabeth. We loved the regular updates and knowing our boys were in good hands and having a great time with Stephen, Elizabeth & Jax. Absolutely will use again!

We’d also like to know how much social interaction they usually get with other dogs, and how often they are let out so we can best accommodate your pup. Any information about medication/feeding/treats would be useful too!
A typical day
We like to go on walks/runs with our dog and take him to the dog park. There is a field by our house that we arrange play dates with the dogs in the neighborhood. On the weekends we like to take our dog hiking, and out to the dog friendly breweries
