I started out attending dog shows with my aunt & uncle helping them care for dogs, whether it be their own or others they were paid to train/show. I thought seeing the different breeds and ways people cared for their dogs was the coolest thing at that age! As a teenager I was paid to care for pets by neighbors. My first paying job was housesitting/cat care when I was in middle school. When I was 19 rescued my first Pit Bull. He passed in 2015. New Years 2018 I was blessed with Baloo! A rescue needed a foster home for a pit Bull that was not adjusting well to shelter life. He is how I came to be a dedicated rescue foster mom and he also became my “foster fail”. I knew within the first two weeks of having him, even after he destroyed multiple dog beds and things, that he was mine. I have a big heart, caring is my calling, and I love animals! I also do In-home senior caregiving a couple days a week. It just isn’t work to me, it’s my therapy! It keeps me humble and grounded. I just understand animals a hell of a lot better than I do people!
