Pet care experience
Thank you for your interest in looking through our profile! I originally made this profile with my sister Grace but now I have moved to my own home in Smyrna, TN with my boyfriend! We are starting this profile again to help pay for bills and to add to our dating funds :) My name is Stephany and I am in nursing school and my boyfriend, Lymon, is also in school pursuing his degree in criminal justice. Although we are doing Rover to help pay for bills and have a little extra money, we take this very seriously as we know our pets are our babies. We both have many years of experience with dogs and are generally flexible as to what specific needs your dog requires. I know from experience that leaving my dog, Luca, with a complete stranger was really difficult and luckily, my sitter was understanding enough to provide me with constant updates which made my time away from him a lot easier. If you decide to choose us, we will accommodate by providing pictures and text updates whenever you would like so it's less stressful for you while you are away from your furbaby! We'd like to know your dog's personality and habits, good and bad! How is he/she with cats? Other dogs? How housebroken is he/she? Are there any specific needs for your dog? How is he/she at dog parks? What are some habits you would like to prevent while boarding? What vaccines/prevention has your dog had/is on? We recommend the pets we board to have their DA2PP, Lepto, Bordetella, Rabies vaccines, and flea/heartworm prevention. Obviously these are not required, but highly recommended. If you would like more information about why we recommend this things feel free to ask.
A typical day
We treat our pets like family, meaning they are allowed on the bed and furniture. When one of us gets home, we walk our dog around the neighborhood for 30 minutes. We have an extremely large crate if you require your dog to sleep in the crate or they can sleep anywhere around our home. We take my dog to the dog park for about 2 hours during Saturday or Sunday. Although our dog is our baby, we don't allow table scraps. If I'm not at school or work, we are always with our dog. How we treat our baby is how we will treat yours :)
