Many blessings to you and yours! Having been a Special Education Teacher and a School Counselor for many years, I learned the beautiful lesson of meeting many where their needs are in the moment. Growing to be attentive with a caring heart, while relying on our dear Lord’s guidance and mercy, has deepened my love to be of service to all God’s creatures, great and small. Being of service to some of the smallest in my life has definitely taught me some of my greatest lessons: unconditional love, patience, stillness and playfulness are just a few! Experience has also taught me that home is a precious gift and not one to be taken for granted, for not all are so blessed with one that is safe and clean. I have also discovered that one love language that seems to resonate in all scenarios and environments is the love of animals- personal or ones shared. Having been raised in a family where our animals were revered for the special gift they are it only made sense for me to pass this love and reverence for animals onto my children- and, now, my grandchildren too! The power and multitude of heart-longing gifts received in sharing time with an animal is immeasurable! Home and animals, true treasured and cherished blessings!
