Pet care experience
I live my life with compassion for animals, so I'm confident that your furry friend will be in great hands with me! I'm a young professional who loves pets of all ages, sizes, and energy levels. I grew up with corgis, so I learned early on how to care for and love dogs. As an adult, I was introduced to living with (my roommates') cats and soon made the switch from being a "dog-person" to a "cat-AND-dog-person"! I'm hard-pressed to meet an animal I haven't loved. Outside of caring for my long-haired black cat, Shady, I truly enjoy meeting and taking care of new dogs and cats through Rover! It really is such a highlight for me to be able to combine my love for pets with my confident ability to provide great care.

As always, Stephanie has been a reliable, responsible, kind, and just wonderful person to care for my cat Dozer. I trust her so much, and my kitty Dozer has also grown to trust her and (uncharacteristically for him) shows her affection. It makes me feel so relaxed knowing that Stephanie is looking after Dozer while I’m gone. Thank you Stephanie!
Stephanie is terrific! Cats are happy, house is in tip-top shape, communication is excellent what more could you ask for? Oh, and she's also a very kind and caring person. Looking forward to the next opportunity to have her hold down the fort!

As a detail-oriented sitter, I'm sure to completely follow any guidelines that you put in place. This relates to any schedules/time-sensitive needs, cleanliness, safety/security, and general Do's/Don't's. Your pet's health and safety are important to me, so in addition to regularly researching pet care, I've also been "Cat and Dog First Aid" certified by the American Red Cross. I promise that when at your home, I'll look after both your pet and your home with the same care and respect as you do, and that you'll come back to everything as you left it.

Please let me know if your pet needs any medication or special care in general, as well as any aggression issues, recent vomiting, coughing or diarrhea, etc. I'd also love to know some of their favorites: Favorite spot to scratch, favorite treats, favorite toy, favorite park to visit, etc... I want to make them feel their best and most comfortable while you're away from them!
A typical day
Milwaukee and Tosa have many great walkable neighborhoods and nature trails, which can give active dogs a chance to exert their energy, or give less active pups the opportunity to take a lazy stroll with as many stop-and-sniff breaks as needed. And I'll always make sure they get plenty of play-time in with their favorite toys. Then, when they're ready to relax or nap, I'll be more than glad to lounge around and cuddle with them. No matter how the day unfolds, I can promise you'll receive some awesome pics of your dog or cat enjoying themselves!

Availability
I work two part-time jobs, so my schedule varies a bit week-to-week. Because of this, I cannot accept bookings too far in advance, as I can't guarantee my availability. Generally, I can book within 3 weeks of the requested date. Please reach out, and I'll be happy to provide my known availability for your requested dates!
