My mom has bred dogs my entire life, so I don’t know what it’s like to not have a dog or be around them. When I lived in New York and Denver, i dog sat/walked while working full time. It’s obviously nice to have some cash coming in on the side, but I really don’t do it for the money. I genuinely love animals and always have. I have a dog and cat of my own. A 5 year old Sheepadoodle named Frisco and a very sweet older cat named Luna. They are best friends and extremely well socialized with other animals. When I dog sat after getting Frisco, he would come with me to the owners house while I pet sat for them. So he is very used to being in new places OR having new pups stay in our home. I am single, have no kids and work from home full time so I am always around. I typically walk Frisco between 3.5-5 miles/day. We live in the Belmont/Plaza neighborhood and are right next to a greenway. And we LOVE to get out of the house and go on walks often, as you can probably imagine working from home full time! Frisco, Luna and I love to make new friends and we can’t wait to meet your pup! I know how stressful it is to leave town and wonder if your pup is getting the care they deserve. I can tell you without a doubt, you’d have nothing to worry about with me. I care for Frisco and Luna like they are human children and plan to do the same with any pup I am caring for. I also have a townhouse with a small fenced backyard and a huge rooftop deck so they would have plenty of places to play! I work from home full time in Tech/SaaS so my schedule ebbs and flows. I always walk my pup in the AM around 730/8 for about 40 mins. Then will let him out for potty breaks during the afternoon (because it is so hot right now!) and then we will go on another long walk sometime between 530-7. Outside of the summer months I usually walk him 3 times, but it is just too hot for him right now during this time of year. Weekends I’m always close by. I never leave my pup for more than about 8 hours at a time and even leaving him for 8 hours is very rare. I have a small fenced yard and a completely private, high walled rooftop deck where they can play. I don’t crate my pup, so as long as yours is good out of a crate they can hang together while I am gone. If you do want to bring a crate, I’m happy to crate your pup! I also usually let frisco sleep in my bedroom, so your pup can as well. My house/neighborhood is really safe and I have extremely trustworthy neighbors. You do not have to worry one bit!
