Dogs are the best. I can guarantee I'll make them happy. Just ask my happy hound at home. I've also recently adopted a rabbit and have taken in a cat. I majored in Biology with an emphasis in Zoology because animals have always made me happy. Throughout the years I have volunteered at animal shelters, had internships at Brookfield Zoo and have helped organizations with rehabilitation and adoption programs. I have been working as an animal behaviorist for the past 6 years by day and a dog trainer by night for 10 years. During the day I work with a range of species focusing mostly on dogs, pigs and non-human primates. I specialize in enrichment and training strategies. Positive reinforcement is the way to go. Not only do I spend time with animals at work but I also volunteer as a dog obedience instructor at an obedience club. I help build the important bond between dogs and their humans. I can offer advice on behavioral problems or answer general questions about dogs if needed. At a young age I knew I wanted to work with animals and I've been able to make my dream come true. I want to be able to share the joy and knowledge I have about dogs with others. *I work Tuesdays-Saturday from 8-4:30pm. But if your pupper needs some company in the evening I'm your gal.*
