Hi there! My name is Suraia and I've been a Veterinary Technician for about 17 years. During these uncertain times I would like to extend my professional knowledge and help out those in need of minor veterinary services that are just difficult to get to these days to say the least. In addition to the typical services Rover advertises for, I can do nail trims, ear cleanings, medical grooming, check blood sugars, administer medications (orally and injectably) and so much more! I can even use the time your baby and I spend together doing some basic training. I have 2 dogs and a cat, and just got a kitten. My pets range from 5 to 130lbs but I've had exotics in the past so I'm used to it all. I started working at a vet's practice right out of high school and 12 years later I work for a veterinary emergency facility. I'm proud of my work, my knowledge and understanding of animals. I know you will see it too. Can't wait to meet you and your fur baby!

I was extremely nervous to leave my medically fragile pup with someone new, but Suraia quickly made me feel comfortable. She came twice to meet Reese and learn all her needs. While we were away she was quick to respond and sent pictures giving me peace that Reese was in good hands. We will 100% book again!

Suraia took great care of my not-so-easy rescue pup. This was my first time using the Rover service as well as having anyone other than a close family member or friend sit the love of my life. Suraia helped me navigate through my nervousness and even brought her boyfriend for a meet and greet in case my doggy needed more care due to the long term sitting agreement over the holidays. When my flight was canceled, she was super flexible and understanding adding extra, unexpected days to the stay. I am grateful my pupper was given attention and love while I was able to spend time away with my family that I had not seen in 2 years. Will definitely recommend and rebook her services!
Suraia is wonderful. We have 6 dogs and their daily feedings and potty breaks when we are away can be overwhelming and like a game of chess. She came for the meet and greet and observed feedings. When she first arrived, she had taken the time to review the information on our pups and knew who each was. We were very relaxed having her there and she was communicative to let us know status. We highly recommend her.

Some basic knowledge of health status and personal preferences when it comes to your pet. Age, if they are intact or are on medications are things that are important to be discussed prior to confirming any services being done to your pet. Any signs of aggression, or fear towards any particular noise or object are also equally as important to know about to ensure the safety and quality of services provided.
A typical day
A lot will depend on the pet's age, breed, typical activity level. However, I like to take my dogs on hikes, dog parks and even the lake for some swimming, for example. I know of many dog friendly places locally. But if your pet usually does just a walk around the block, or even in a stroller, I'll cater to any and all pups! Going anywhere for a walk is always a good opportunity to do training for leash walking, obeying commands like heel, leave it, etc.
