Pet care experience
My boyfriend Kevin and I live in a two bedroom apartment in down town Long Beach near the pike. We have a friendly and goofy 2 year old boxer dog of our own and have loved using this site ourselves. I don't have any children and on the days I'm free I mostly don't have any other engagements I mostly just go to the gym and grocery shopping. I currently own a preschool and work there Monday-Wednesday and am looking to fill up my Thursdays-Sundays with dog time! HOWEVER, I get breaks so I'm sometimes of Monday-Wednesday too. love animals and feel like this is an exciting and fulfilling way to add some work to my week. I've spent a lot of time caring for my pet and the pets of others. I'm fully excited to invest time, love and care with yours. I know how picking a dog sitter/walker can be difficult sometimes. I've been there myself. I treasure my dog so much and understand that our dogs can mean the world to us so it's important to find the right fit. It makes me happy to know that I can assist people with their dogs and their needs. Dogs should have plenty of exercise daily and need human interaction as well as dog interaction. I'm here for you wether you want your dog to run and get worn out or just walk and cuddle. I will walk and board all breeds and dogs of all sizes. I'm fit and active so the more exercise your dog needs the better.

Chloe had a great time – maybe too good a time. She leaped up, stole some food she wasn't supposed to have! Stephanie immediately informed us and asked about allergies, knew how to give her hydrogen peroxide to induce vomiting. She clearly was concerned only about Chloe's health and well being and did everything in her power to make sure she was ok! We're so happy Stephanie's so attentive (and we're sorry Chloe got into all her food!)
This was my first time using Rover and my first time leaving my puppy Shelby. I was so overwhelmed with feelings of fear, sadness, and separation anxiety. With Stephanie’s loving and compassionate personality all of my negative feelings disappeared. She was so welcoming to Shelby as well as myself. From beginning of our conversations up until the end she showed nothing but love formy baby. I knew that when I dropped off Shelby that we made the right choice with Stephanie. She was consistent with pictures and updates throughout the whole 3 day weekend. I knew Shelby was being taken care of properly and I could not be happier. Again a thousand thank yous for treating Shelby as your own.
Great sitter! Very friendly and cooperative. She took great care of Jameson and he got along with the other pups perfectly. Would definitely use her again :)

I don't have specific breed preferences but would like to know the level of energy your dog has and if he/she is friendly around other dogs and people. I would like to know if your dog has any destructive behaviors and if he/she is house broken. Dog boarding is a 24 hour stay. For example: 1 day of boarding might may be 7am drop off/ 7am pick up the next day (drop off hour depends on the owners needs). * I give a two hour leeway for a late pick up as long as it's before noon, otherwise it's an additional day care rate. Doggy daycare is a 10 hour stay * I give a 1 hour leeway for a late pick up, otherwise it's considered dog boarding.
A typical day
Your dog will enjoy going out for runs and walks near the beach or in the neighborhood depending on your preference. If your dog is trained and does well in a group of dogs I would enjoy taking him/her to the dog beach or park. My dog, Harper is also very friendly and sociable so your dog would have a buddy to play with!
