Pet care experience
Leaving your pet(s) in someone else's care while you are away is a big decision. I understand the concern and worry of pet owners who are leaving their pet. When your pet is in my care, I promise to love and treat him/her as my own! I have been pet sitting here in Tallahassee for about seven years in addition to working at a doggie daycare for two years. I also had a sweet and loving rescued greyhound for 7 years, who had an assortment of health issues. All of these experiences have provided me with the knowledge of working with all sorts of dogs who have a variety of behavioral and energy needs. My boyfriend and I have a 7 year old lab mix, Wedge, who is an energetic boy and loves getting new friends to play with! If your dog loves to play outside I would love to take them to the park or hike with them. If they love to nap, I will make sure they get the most comfortable spot in the house to cozy up and feel secure. I can't wait to meet you and your pet(s)!

Stephanie was fantastic!!! Both she and her dog Phoenix have a calm, comforting demeanor. Our gig Sierra is a pound rescue and can be skittish, but she took to the immediately. We had just made a major move and I needed someone to watch my dog as we flew back to move the rest of our house, The newness of everything really stressed Sierra, but staying with Stephanie kept her calm. Stephanie was excellent about sending us texts and pictures, which in turn was reassuring to us. We could tell by the pictures that Sierra was fully enjoying herself and we’re afraid she wouldn’t want to come home!

I always make sure dogs are leashed on walks and if needed you are welcome to bring a crate for your pet. I also have a security camera to monitor dogs for when I am out.

A typical day
I would take your dog to places he or she likes. We would go to the dog park, or just hang out in the neighborhood. If you have a high energy dog, I would love to take your dog for a run or hike, as I also love to be active.

Availability
I work full time, so dogs in my care would go out before and after work, as well as at lunch. I also let the dogs out right before bed. On the weekends, I tend to let them about 4-6x a day, or whenever they need to go out.
