Greetings! My name is Stephanie and I have cared for many different animals since I was a child and it is my life’s passion to work with animals. I have rescued and fostered kittens, cats and dogs for over a decade on my free time just because I care. As well as having experience with cats and dogs, I also have experience with small mammals and exotics. My children share my love for animals and my daughter is currently a dog walker herself. We have one well behaved blue parakeet named Star Fire. I have experience fostering dogs in my home and we would love to own a dog soon, and caring for dogs in our home temporarily is a great start! We are looking forward to meeting you and your furry friends!

I write this review to alert others. Stephanie was unresponsive, unprofessional, and ultimately, I was nervous all week that my cat was unsafe. Three days in, she called panicking that the keys just would not work and she didn’t know what to do only to realize she was at the complete wrong building number ten minutes later. She was late to her check ins several times. On the first day, she said “she’s not here I don’t think I can’t find her” anyone who truly has experience with cats knows they like to hide. This sent me to have unnecessary panic. She also was unresponsive for half an hour after sending the initial text that my cat just “was not there”. Then , she really made little acknowledgment or apology for her misbehavior. Stay away from this sitter.
We had a terrible experience. Stephanie had our puppy overnight and I put in the profile that she’s still in a chewing stage. Our puppy apparently barked a lot so Stephanie demanded we pick up our dog at 2am despite us being out of town. We believe she also kept our puppy in her car because she asked us to pay her for damage our puppy caused to her car (which she had no reason to be in). We then had to scramble during our vacation trying to arrange for someone to get our puppy from Stephanie and care for her because Stephanie could not fulfill the balance of the dog sitting. Stephanie did not seem equipped to handle a puppy.
Stephanie was so nice and made friends with my shy cat! Truly my hero for taking care of my cat baby over the holidays.
Stephanie was absolutely NOT the right choice for our dog. We chose Stephanie based on her great reviews and claims that she can care for pets who may have greater needs. Our dog has anxiety. She also wants to chase rabbits. Stephanie had a rabbit on her living room floor in a large cage when we arrived. The cage was not removed during her stay as promised. We were traveling and received very poor communication from Stephanie that our dog had to leave less than 24 hours after arriving.

I enjoy taking care of all types of animals. I have had cats, dogs, birds, including parakeets, finches, fish, hamsters, guinea pigs and a snake.
A typical day
We will go on walks on beautiful nature trails and parks nearby. Depending on personal preference, we can play ball, chase and frisbee or all three! I use mostly natural cleaning products in my home, so you’re pet is not exposed to toxic chemicals. I also have extensive experience in pet nutrition, special diets, like digestive issues or overweight and underweight/malnutrition for dogs and cats. In addition, I also have knowledge about natural and live pet food.
