Please put a label with your pets name(s) on all belongings with tape/sharpie, and have identifying name tag and dog licence on collar your pet will wear all the time. This is a small Safe Zone for little dogs to relax and feel at home. No 'Intact' dogs, No puppies under 6 months. Only small breeds. No large breeds. ***All dogs must be spayed/neutered.*** No Bully Breeds, or large breed dogs, or large breed puppies, pure or mixed,,I get alot if gaff over this, but it is my allowed preference, the decision formed over much research, news reports, and my own and others real experiences. Please don't be offended, there are many many other sitters happy to oblige you. -Please bring your pets on leash or hand carry. -I prefer my client doggies to be neutered, up to date on shots, currently healthy. -I will need to know of any known allergies. -Tell me of any special needs. Your dogs should be able to go up and down stairs, but if not, is ok if I can carry, no more than 35-40# please. - And sorry, no breeders, no pregnant dogs, or studs, per my own philosophy of we all need to do what we can to stop dog overpopulation- 4 million unwanted pets are euthanized every year,,horrible! Please, join the bandwagon to adopt strays, shelter animals, and don't buy into Guardian programs, don't buy from backyard breeders, and be sure to thoughly check a place out before you buy puppies, remember that so many people and their homes are paid to be just Fronts for puppy-mills. All shelter dogs will bond nicely with you, just give them a chance, and your time, hire a trainer if you need. Do your research on the breed(s) before you adopt, to know expected behaviors.Never buy a dog you can't physically restrain or hang on to if the want to run. As homestyle and layed back as Steffies House may seem, I take all precautions for the safety and well-being of your pet(s) and am trusted by many many repeat clients, this is my own home and own business, and my full time profession, yes I charge money and it may seem alot for Overnight boarding, but I'm really priced in the average zone, and of great Value. Remember, though loved, your friends and family usually do not have the experience and expertise, or patience or full time, to care for your pet properly while you're away. Bringing to me means no one is going in and out of your place with a potential for dog escapes, or unknown unwanted visitors into your own home, as in the case of sitters. I'm insured, I have a car for emergency transports, and,,dogs love me! It may be your/your dog's 1st time boarding, and you both may have sepperation anxiety, but all dogs, and pet parents, settle down within an hour or so, then pup becomes part of 'the pack, and yes, I offer lots and lots lap time, cuddles, and kisses for my charges, it's a chance to socialize, and make new friends. All my repeat clients tell me their doggies start to get excited to see us and bark in the car when they get near! They're always happy to return!

A laundry basket full of assorted toys, they get laundered often. Chuck it, fetch tennis balls, tug o war, Frisby. Some like to hang out in the play area where I Groom, they help me Meet and Greet, help do chores, like to keep me company in the kitchen.W don't get out because there are my 5 plus usually another few pups that makes it too hard for me to walk them all. So, we just hang out and they run around here, sometimes lickily split back and forth inside or outside, playing chase, getting their Ya Ya's out. I don't get going until 8 or nine, after bfast, so they can choose to play or snooze as they wish. It's a good time for laptime,,my lap is one if the musical chairs here.
