Pet care experience
I love all dogs and cats, and birds. My whole life I have had dogs and cats. Over many years, my pets have been schnauzer mix, sheepdog mix, rottweiler, pitbull mix, boxer mixes, and now Yorkie mixes. I am strong and love to walk dogs and play. I allow pets on furniture and beds. But if you don't want your pet to bring these habits to your home, I will honor your requests to keep them off the furniture. I am experienced with bathing dogs, but I am not a groomer or nail trimmer. I am energetic and attentive to your pets needs. Senior dog care is my specialty. I have soft pet stairs to get to the couch and bed. I have a pet stroller for sniffing and sight seeing without over exertion. We also have pet pads and diapers if incontinence is an issue. Our home is clean and pet friendly/safe. We are looking forward to caring for your pet🐕

Stephanie is wonderful with dogs, especially my dogs apparently!!! She is professional, reliable, safety-oriented, very friendly, really loves dogs, and follows instructions very well regarding visits, feeding, potty, medications, and care. I will hire her again and again in near future! I can tell my dogs enjoyed themselves by her photos and text messages too!
I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this lady (and her husband and her two tiny dogs)! I feel so blessed and grateful that I was able to book her and have everything work out so well with my small dogs who needed daily medications. Her home atmosphere was wonderful for my two to integrate with her two and an additional regularly visiting small dog. She went FAR ABOVE and BEYOND to help me and my precious pups feel safely, professionally, ethically, and affectionately cared for during the week-long boarding stay. Additionally, her home visits went above and beyond - offering to pick up prior poops in the yard not just the ones from that first day!
Stephanie is kind and makes sure Bear is as comfortable as he can be with his anxiety.
Stephanie was great and so accommodating! She watched our pup for the evening while we were out and brought him back later at night. He has a great time!

I will maintain any habits you have for your pet. Yes on furniture, no on furniture. Yes to crate(I have large and small crates) or no crate. Special diet or simple diet. Etc. I have experience with giving meds- oral, topical, injection (intramuscular or subcutaneous...not intravenous), ear meds, wound care. I have 2 small dogs. But if you dog doesn't appreciate other dogs, I can easily keep them separated. My yard is securely fenced and I have dog doors for anytime access and can be closed for any reason ex: at night etc. I am very trainable to care for your pet the way you want them to be treated.

A typical day
We will walk the neighborhood, (about a mile loop) or Atascadero Lake (about 1.3 miles). If your dog likes to run off leash. We'll go to the gated dog park. Heilman Park in Atascadero. Or name a place you take you dog. During hotter months we will walk in early morning, late evening, or I will take your pup to the Morro Bay Beach. A free bath is included after the beach.

Availability
I am available most days and weekends. This is perfect for pets with separation anxiety or pets who have a lot of energy and want to play or walk a lot. I have a 1 mile walk 2x per day. Lots of shade and slow minimal cars in the area.
