Pet care experience
I adore all kinds of animals and am fluent in pet care; my Rhodesian Ridgeback/Boxer mix, Jasper, even knows a few commands in Spanish! I also own chickens and have experience in that area as well. I love to make up songs to both my dog and chickens because I have always believed that singing can definitely be a soothing, fun way of interaction! Also am an avid cook, so my animals definitely get some tasty treats, fresh and healthy treats! With my last dog, miniature schnauzer, toward the end of his life, he developed diabetes, therefore I learned to administer the injections and learned signs to watch out for for diabetic conditions.
Reviews
Stephanie has been an occasional sitter for our cat and medium sized dog for years. She is a very compassionate and caring individual. She makes sure the pets are on schedule, attains to their needs and sends occasional photos of the fun they are having. She is dependable and very trustworthy. Always reliable in all that I need. House sits at times as well. Her personality is radiant and it is always such a joy to have her around. Her beautiful 9 year old daughter comes along with her at times and seeing her amazing and gentle interaction with the pets is always a highlight!

Safety, trust & environment
I have a fenced in yard, do own chickens but they have their own fenced in area. I do have a nine year old that loves to entertain every kind of pet and our dog, Jasper, whom is such a fun soul. If pet’s were to stay at my home, we have areas within our home where each animal would roam around freely, without any problem. When at a client’s home, I would definitely make sure that one’s pet is my priority and therefore, hold it to the best of my abilities that the pet is well taken care of. Could even teach a few tricks and do light grooming (nail trimmings and bathing).

Information Stephanie S. would like to know about your pet
Let me know if your pet needs extra care in certain fields, has separation anxiety or anxiety of any kind, medications to take, conditions to monitor or what appropriate time length of walk you would like.
A typical day
I would make sure they are taken care of in both a physical and mental state. I would give them attention in playing, making up games, speak to them in a soothing tone but firm one when needed. I would definitely take them on at least a 30 minute walk, make sure to bring bags along the way, and even check out new areas around your community to venture out with them. I am a huge snow enthusiast, so even during the winter time, we would make sure to get some outdoor fun! I also believe in treat rewarding system. In my personal experience with my dog Jasper, we love to reward with fruits and veggies but do occasionally let him indulge in ‘junk’ treats!

I am a person who cares deeply of the well being of animals that at times, I feel like I want to rescue all! On a daily, I have lots of pet interaction around my home.
