I currently help my mom take care of her basset hound puppy by periodically dog sitting for her. I have experience walking dogs for others and watching them overnight in my house. I currently work as a veterinary assistant, therefore I have lots of knowledge of animal care and what to do in a medical emergency. I’ve been taking care of dogs since I was in middle school for my neighbors just because I loved doing it. This is more than just a job for me. I will give each dog I look after personal attention and will make sure all their needs are met. I will play with them until they get exhausted. I will give them all the belly rubs and pets they desire. Most importantly they will have fun!

I live in a pet friendly apartment building with tons of other pet owners. My neighborhood has plenty of parks and grassy areas your pet will enjoy. If I am dropping in or dog walking, I typically will take your pet out and go on a nice long walk in your neighborhood and play with them for the duration of my service. I will also check to make sure they have food and water, or anything else they may need. If I am pet sitting at your home or house sitting, I would typically spend time with your pet in your living space and take them out to the yard when needed for potty breaks. If you have a backyard, we will most likely be out there playing loads of games and having fun!

If your pet has any special needs or behaviors, please let me know in advance so I may accommodate for them. If medication needs to be administered while they are with me, please let me know the dosage and exact times they need to be administered so I may plan accordingly.
A typical day
A typical day for me and your pet would entail lots of pets and belly rubs, nice long walks around the neighborhood, playing fetch and tug of war until we both get tired, and plenty of cuddles with some occasional treats.

I’m currently working part-time so I have lot of free time to dog sit, dog walk, and house sit. I’m typically available all day Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays since those are my days off. Mondays I’m usually available after 4pm. Thursday’s and Saturday’s I’m normally available after 2pm.
