I share a two-year old rescue Chihuahua-Pug with my boyfriend, who I care for in the weekend by playing with her, give her belly scratches, feed, walk outside, and let her out to potty at her command. I’ve done on-boarding pet-sitting and remained respectful of the person’s home, sending regular updates and pictures of their pet to let them know how they are doing. I like to meet the person’s pet beforehand and ask questions about their pet’s needs and routines to offer the best care possible. At this moment, I cannot care for pets at my home since my lease doesn’t allow pets.
