About this sitter: You never have to board your dog in a kennel again. No cages, just the warmth of a home that replicates your home. Your furbaby gets to roam free and has access to the backyard. And if you wish, I can take him/her to the Dog Park when the weather cooperates. He gets to socialize with others and goes home a happy camper. I have had a dog in my home since I was a year old and have never been without one. My Mom raised and showed Cockers starting in the early 80s and did that for over 25 years. Most of my life we had eight dogs at home; 6 cockers and a golden and yellow lab. But over the years I have had a Pit, 3 Boxers, a Doberman, a Shih Tzu and 2 Schnauzers. I need to know how socialized your dog is around other dogs and people. I do this by having a new client come to my home and bring their dog. That way I can ascertain quickly if the dog is a good candidate for Doggy Daycare and/or Boarding. I also like to know any habits, bad or good, they may have so that I can be prepared for them. I need to know their eating habits, sleeping habits and if they are in need of medication during their stay with me, which by the way. I also need to know that they are on tick and flea preventative. I have a 2011 BMW and am the sole driver of the vehicle so it is at my disposal at all times. I am very comfortable administering oral medication. I spend all most of my time with the dogs I have in my care with the exception of errands, etc. Your dog will sleep where it sleeps when in your home. I have numerous dog beds of all sizes (you don't need to bring your own unless you prefer), I have crates of all sizes set up in the "Dog Room" and I allow them to sleep in my bed (King) if they wish to and that is where they sleep at home. Where will you take my dog on walks? Tell me about it. I do not take dogs on walks because the backyard is sufficient and has plenty of room to roam and run at will.
