I grew up with large breed dogs and began fostering rescue dogs in 2016. For most of 2017, I worked full-time as a dog walker and pet sitter while living in Oregon (and LOVED it). Late that winter, I moved to Michigan where I worked full-time for a dog rescue - and got to bring many, many dogs home for sleepovers. One gave birth (to 11 puppies) in my bathroom last fall! I moved to the Nashville area earlier this year, and am excited to meet your pups (and cats)! I’m available weekends for any pet sitting/walking/boarding/check-in needs, and am happy to help however I can during the week, as time permits (I do work a typical workweek). Stephanie was amazing to work with. She walked my mini schnauzer for about 2.5 months once a week. She offered flexibility, which was nice because a couple of times I ended up having a schedule change and needed to have my dog walked on a different day of the week. I was, however, confused and disappointed when I didn't hear back from her after reaching out a few times. She had nothing but positive feedback, but then just didn't ever respond to me when I attempted to rebook. I don't know what happened, but I wish there had been some communication if she no longer wanted to walk my little guy or if she was no longer available to walk dogs in general.
Jasper seemed to have a great time on his walk with Stephanie. Unfortunately, a mishap with our keys left our home insecure, and required us to hire a locksmith. Stephanie communicated well about the matter, and enthusiastically promised reimbursement, but then demonstrated a complete lack of follow through to resolve this matter, and became unresponsive. Hoping this doesn’t happen for anyone else.
