Caring for other people’s puppies💗

Pet care experience

*Message us for a code for a $20 discount when you book with us (for first time Rover clients only)! 🐾 *Just added 1,300 sq feet of turf for puppers! *We offer early drop offs for daycares/ have a flexible schedule for last minute bookings INTRO Didace and I have called Tucson home for the past 5 years. We are experienced animal handlers, and your pets get double the love when you book with us. Rover has provided us with the opportunity to meet some awesome new families with their amazing pets whom we have become their trusted and designated helper for their beloved four-legged-friends. DAYCARES Daycare spots open! We had some home renovations and have just returned to Tucson. We are here for good and are looking for some regular doggy day-care clients to join our pack! Doggies get to benefit from all day companionship with humans and other pups, exercise, and mental stimulation (all indoor and outdoor). All pets also work on skills such as: resource sharing, housetraining, self-regulation (waiting at gates and doors before bolting through them), appropriate play, and general manners around other humans and pets (no jumping, mouthing, etc.). Currently, we have been doing 1–2 hour pack walks around 10am every day, spending about 30 minutes to an hour walking around a nearby park (often Connor, Mitchell, or Tahoe Park). EXPERIENCE Currently, my husband and I are volunteers and foster parents with both the Humane Society of Southern Arizona (HSSA) and Pima Animal Care Center (PACC) here in Tucson. We have fostered many kittens with the HSSA and dogs through PACC, having worked with the former decompression program which specialized in rehabilitating shy and fearful dogs. I have been a foster parent since high school and began fostering and working with dogs since 9th grade, spending most of my weekends at the local animal shelter. While we are still very much committed to serving the homeless pets in our community, assisting families on Rover has been just as fulfilling and has allowed us to feel more connected and a part of the Tucson community- and of course connect with some amazing and unique pets! SERVICES We are flexible to the exact needs of your pet and have successfully hosted dogs young and old, low to high energy. We frequent many parks, so if you want your pet to have outings, make sure your pup is ready to have some fun! For multiple-pet bookings, having the both of us makes it all the better in providing the extra care and attention for a full pack. Note: *Dogs must be spayed/ neutered unless under 1 year (there may be exceptions, please reach out to me first, will incur an additional charge). Please feel free to reach out if you need any clarifications on dates. 🙂 *Dogs over 80 pounds are an additional $10 per night *Longer daycares, 10+ hours are $50 per day Thanks for reading and we look forward to meeting you and your four-legged friends! Feel free to reach out if you have any questions or need to discuss pricing. ADDITIONAL SERVICES: We also provide behavioral services for families with pets who are struggling to correct behavioral problems such as reactivity, jumping, fear-based issues, etc.). Rates are hourly (w/ owner) or by the day (we work with your dog for the day). Progression usually occurs after a single day, and we can continue to work with your dog with regular-priced daycares when he/ she is ready. We have worked with a handful of dogs now: learn to be around cats, socialize with dogs (when previous trainers said their dog could never be around dogs), and behave on walks (not reacting to other dogs or people on a walk/ reactivity).

I really appreciate that they were able to take my dog at the last minute. And when I went to pick him up he was very happy and that made me happy. Thank you again for taking such good care of my dog

Didace & Stephanie are the best. They take such good care of our old girl with health issues. They provide her love and comfort and are so knowledgeable about dogs. So lucky we found them.

We are so grateful for Stephanie & Didace M. Their care for our 9 month pup DD was so thoughtful and they communicated with us very thoroughly. Their DayCare space is so bright, clean, inviting, and safe! All pups were wagging their tails when we arrived to drop off DD for his trial day. DD is young and still learning boundaries and they were patient and willing to help him redirect when his energy level was a bit too high for older dogs. DD was already excited to meet the other pups in the morning and Didace walked me through the plan for the day. There was excellent water supply and Didace shared that they are very careful of the indoor/outdoor time ratio now that it is becoming warmer outside. I learned that many of the pups there have been coming for over 2 years! I felt great leaving DD there bc right away they asked me lots of questions about his temperament, any allergies, and anything else they should know. We love that Didace was so thoughtful about intentional intro with the pups there and that there are activities for pups of all different interests. All of the pictures they sent during the day were so cute and most importantly, DD looked SO happy. When we picked DD up they gave us reallly helpful feedback and DD was happy, lighthearted, and relaxed. We feel like we won the lottery with Stephanie and Didace’s DayCare, and we will 100% be back.

We own a nice home in Samos with a spacious yard and safe neighborhood. Our yard is fully secure, and we’ve had small dogs and large dogs and they’ve all done great. We generally vet dogs before their stay (there are some exceptions), dogs must be able to play well with others and not aggressive so all pack members can be safe and have fun during their time with us. Must submit a shot record before boarding or day care.

Information Stephanie & Didace M. would like to know about your pet

Any breed is fine! Pure bred or mutt- we love them just the same. -Behavioral problems: Dogs with particular behavioral issues may be an extra charge. -Meds: If your dog has regular meds, please include clear instructions. Also include a paper with notes on when/ how they receive their meds. I prefer pill pockets or other food to entice dogs to eat pills. Medicine/ Pill administration is an additional $3 a day. -Raw food diets: I am fine with feeding your pet raw food or other special diets, such as refrigerated food. Special diets (aside from kibble/ canned) are an additional $3 a day. -Barking: Is your pup an excessive barker? We do have neighbors! Please let us know ahead of time so we can make a plan to help curb excessive barking. -Crate trained: Is your doggy crate trained? We prefer to crate your dog when we are out to the store or an errand for maximum safety. If not, we have an Arizona room which is gated from the rest of the house to keep your pup safe and secure. -Housetraining: If your dog is over 1 year and likes to mark/ is not housetrained, there will be an additional charge. What to Bring: -I walk dogs using martingale collars for safety reasons. I do not use harnesses as dogs can slip out of them and when walking multiple dogs harnesses makes walking more difficult. I have extra martingale collars for your dog for walks if you do not have one. There may be some exceptions, feel free to ask about your pup in particular if you have concerns. If you plan to come regularly, I will ask if you are able to purchase a martingale for your pup when they visit. -I do NOT use Flexi Leashes for safety reasons (I do not recommend these at all!). I ask owners not to leave their leash. I have plenty! -I have enough bowls and blankets, no need to bring. -Please measure out food before bringing your pup, I do not like to receive whole bags of dog food, especially if it's only for a few days. You can put each meal into an individual small ziploc bag or all meals in a larger ziploc or container. Please write your pet's name on the bag with the amount of food for each meal. -For Daycare snacks, bring the snack in a ziploc with your pup's name on it.

We love exploring new places or exploring our own neighborhood! We are very active and love being outside, spending a lot of time at 3 local neighborhood parks with our pack. We have a collection of dog toys, Kong toys, all the fun dog stuff you could imagine.

Someone is always home to provide special attention to your pet as we do not have any commitments outside of the home (no work or school). We also love going on walks, and we love to take our Rover pups with us too! We've also taught many of our boarding pups to safely accompany us on bike rides which has helped to tire out the more energetic canines. We have a fully secure, fenced yard for the pups to play in (stay in tune for our 640 sq. foot doggy hotel)!🐾 We offer flexible drop off and pick up times (early and late).
