Pet care experience
I've been petsitting since I was 10 years old, grew up with an amazing black lab named Cole, and have been volunteering at animal shelters since 2011. I also recently spent a year working at an animal rescue and at a doggie daycare. I have extensive knowledge of dog care and behavior, and I'm comfortable with all breeds, sizes, and temperaments. I'm more than willing to come meet your dog(s) before the scheduled visit to get to know them and their home. My love for animals knows no bounds, and any dog I take care of is treated like a member of my own family. As a bonus, I'm also very experienced in cat care (and have a cat of my own), so if you have any feline family members, they'll be well taken care of!

Stephanie has been a fantastic sitter for my dog! My dog loves it when she comes over and takes him out - he is always well walked and socialized when she helps out!
Stephanie has watched my own personal dogs, and a foster dog (5 yr old mastiff mix) for us who had special medical and behavioral needs. I'm very picky on who I trust with my dogs because they aren't the easiest pack to handle, and Stephanie is one of the few that I truly trust to take care of them without having to worry.

If your dog has specific walking routes, special feeding regiments, or medication, I'd love to get detailed instructions prior to the visit. I have no breed or size restrictions whatsoever. If your dog is wary of new people, I'm more than happy to make one or more stops by prior to the scheduled visit to get to know them.
A typical day
I will take your dog on walks or other outings that you deem appropriate (dog parks, etc.). If you have a dog that loves to play fetch and a fenced-in yard, we'll have a ball outside. For dogs that prefer cuddling, I'm always up for a good snuggle, and I'm even happy to let them in the bed with me (as long as you're okay with that, of course!).
