Pet care experience
Hello, my name is Stephanie. I have been obsessed with dogs and other animals as long as I can remember. Having two Pittie rescues myself, I know how hard it is to find animal care that I feel is the best fit for my dogs. In a recent interview with a new Rover sitter for my dogs (who I connected well with and hired for an upcoming over-night!!!), I was inspired to make the leap as well to connect with others and help people with their pets needs whether it be a walk, potty break, house/pet sitting etc. I currently volunteer with MnPitbull rescue and have two rescue Pitties through there. I also foster for them from time to time.

Stephanie L. has an unusually wonderful gift with animals, especially dogs and cats. She was the favorite human of our late dog, Finn and was with him on the day he left us. Dogs naturally sense that she is someone they can trust and love. I highly recommend her for dog walking and / or pet sitting.

My animals are well loved at my house. We do walks, training, playing, petting, and cuddling. In your home, I will care for your pets as you wish. I am VERY cautious about doors, fences, and leashes to keep my animals safe. One of my Pitties is leash reactive, in our neighborhood, so I am experienced in handling reactive dogs. I understand the level of trust and structure that needs to be there with reactive dogs as well as the various tools and techniques that can be used in those situations.

If your animal has any special needs, quirks, or behaviors to pay attention to, I am accustomed to that. The fist time I had a rover sitter, I wrote her three pages of info, so I get it:) Our pets our like our children, and we want the best for them!
A typical day
I use a variety of fun activities with my dogs. Treat/food puzzles, spring pole, flirt pole, doggie pool, fetch etc. White Tail woods is a great place for walks!

Availability
I am keeping my service area close to home right now due to my other life obligations (2 young kids, 2 dogs, 2 cats.) I work from home and stay around the area for the most part. My schedule is somewhat flexible so we should be able to figure out the best schedule to meet you and your pets needs.
