Hello! ( : My name is Stephanie. I am a recent college graduate taking some time off to save up money for graduate school. I've always had a love for all animals, but definitely have a special place in my heart reserved just for dogs. Since I was about 12-13 years old, I've taken on opportunities to pet sit for neighbors both for short and long periods of time and over the years, my family has even made it a habit to take in strays and help reunite them with their owners or help find them a new home. My respect and understanding for the special relationship that exists between dogs and their owners has been cultivated through seeing that reuniting process all those years and that has seeped over into how I look after other people's animals. During my time in college, one of my favorite things to do in my spare time was petsit and walk dogs/help socialize the cats at the animal shelter near my school so now that I’m back home, I want to continue being able to do just that while preparing for the next step in my life. I'm a pretty laid back person, home most of the time during this gap year, and can send you as many updates as the stay progresses. I can't wait to meet you and your furry baby! (:
