Patient Animal Caretaker
Pet care experience
I am a Navy veteran and currently work in the legal field. Animals have always been where my heart is. I enjoy caring for and spending time with animals (snakes..not so much!) I am patient with animals that just aren't too sure about humans and I am very experienced with administering animal medications. I was a volunteer as a canine companion at the Nebraska Humane Society for many years. I have plenty of love and experience with other small animals such as hamsters, birds and bearded dragons as well.

Very impressed with our first experience using rover. Stephanie came by to do a quick meet/greet last minute and it went great. The drop in visit seemed to go well as well! Lots of photos of our pups and both looked happy!

I follow all pet parent instructions, and I am a very detailed and a great communicator. If animals are not interested in snuggles, I will still sit in the room with them so they have some human interaction for a while during my drop in visits.

I would like to know if there are any behaviors that I should be aware of such as being dog reactive on walks, jumping, biting, humping due to anxiety. I have no breed restrictions but I often ask about pet behaviors so I can help keep them as comfortable as possible.
A typical day
We will go on walks in your neighborhood if the are requested, and play in the yard or inside the home, and of course lots of snuggles

Availability
I work a full-time job Monday through Friday until 3:30pm and work from home two days out of the week. I am available to do drop-in visits in the mornings before work, in the afternoons, and in the evening time. I am able to adjust my work schedule if animals need medication at certain times.
