I am the founder and director of Stephanie’s Shepherds Rescue, Rehab & Training, a non profit 501c3 German Shepherd Rescue and Training Org. I have been training under profressional trainers for over 10+ years. My partner and I run the rescue with our e board and we do participate in protection sports, dock diving, lure coursing, AKC and UKC obedience events. I mainly train basic pet obedience and have a passion for reading, learning and understanding dogs. We have successfully adopted out over 300 shepherds since we got our 501c3 and plan to continue for as long as God permits us to. Our children as also AKC /UKC junior handlers and they also participate in all our events together. Additionally 3 of the 4 of our own German Shepherds is a TDI certified therapy dogs and we do a lot of visits locally to help. Thus we are picky about which dogs we take on. Before we book ANY dog, there is a mandatory meet and greet as your dog must be able to get along with our dogs as well as our children. Any dog we take on, they will have the freedom to roam our home, get lots of treats from our kids and lay around on comfy beds, as our own dogs do. We DO require crate trained dogs as we feed all dogs in crates for safety, and well as they sleep in crates, overnight, as again were super cautious. As well mannered as ANY dog is, they are still animals and that is to be respected, so we’re more conservative while eating and sleeping. We are very excited to work with you!!!
