Hey everybody! I am a tender-hearted and compassionate lifelong animal lover with over a decade of experience dog/cat and house sitting, but have had animals of some sort all my life. I grew up in KY and had a calf, bunny, hamster and many dogs and kitties over the years. I am quiet, love hanging out at home, love love love the outdoors and am a long time yogi/meditator. I consider myself pretty chill and grounded and work well with helping anxious dogs feel more balanced, happy and safe. I am very affectionate with my doggie pals... love petting, massaging and giving lots and lots of one on one to the animals I care for. My furry friends get loads of head rubs, cuddles, belly rubs and play time with their favorite toys. I love to do afternoon and evening walks ... and especially love afternoon hikes in the park when the weather is nice. I have a bookkeeping business along with my pet sitting business and am home alot during the day, so for my overnight pals, they'll also get extra time during the day for hanging out in addition to the daily walks and feedings. I lost my dog of 13 years earlier this year and do not have a dog at home, but through dealing with his illness have experience caring for animals with low energy, limited mobility and special needs. I especially love older dogs who need extra love and attention. I consider pets some of the earth's purest most beautiful creatures and they bring me much joy and teach me lessons all the time. I have a beautiful long haired kitty and two sweet parakeets who I love and adore who love having doggies around who love and respect them❤️. For my in home boarding friends, I have a small loft condo, but live on the equivalent of a nature sanctuary with lots of woods, walking paths and great areas for walks, streams, shade, quiet and it is very very dog friendly.
