Safety, trust & environment
We are aware that many animals are escape artists (our terrier is guilty of this to!). We are very careful to ensure your pet is safe before, during and after our care. First, we follow all instructions provided and like to ensure we have proper communication in place in the event something comes up. While under our care, we treat your pups like the kings and queens they are! This includes regular "conversations" with them, playing their favorite games, and providing as much pets and scratches as they'd like. We understand how stressful it can be for you and your pets so we try to make it as stress free as possible for both. We like to keep you updated by sending photos and texts throughout the visit, but will also discuss beforehand what type of communication you would prefer. :)
Information Stephanie C. would like to know about your pet
Please let us know if you have any specific commands or words you use for your pets. If your pet has a history of aggression, it is best we set up at least 2 meet and greets to get comfortable before providing services.
A typical day
We like to give all pets the space to get to know us first. Some pets warm up slowly to new people and we want to ensure they feel safe before engaging in an activity. Once this trust has been established we like to match the pups speed! With our high energy pups, this can look like taking long walks, playing fetch, or even chasing in the yard. For our seniors it can be hanging out on the ground with them while giving them pets, lounging in the sunshine until their heart desires or whatever they chose. Ultimately, it's up to what the animals want to do and accommodate them.

Kittie Care in your home!
Cat care experience
My daughter and I offer home visits in the Augusta area! We have been a Rover dog boarding family for almost 13 years, and now we are caring for your kitties in your home! Currently we have a 2.5 year old mini Australian Shepherd, a 1.5 year old terrier mix, and four kitties, who we adore! We are experienced and dedicated cat lovers! While most of our pet care on Rover has been dog related, we now offer in home cat care! What sets us apart is our deep understanding of how unique each kitty is. We approach each kitty we care for with patience and attention to detail, giving them plenty of time to warm up. Since most cats get spooked when their owners leave we like to prioritize safety and comfort so that all parties can rest easy. If you live close by, send us a message! We look forward to meeting you!
Reviews

Amazing care by Stephanie and Devan:) Jack was well taken care of and he always gets a lot of attention and love from both of them. I’m really happy that they send very detailed updates and cute pictures. They are wonderful 🥳- I couldn’t ask for a better care.

Stephanie and Devan were great at taking care of Jack. It feels good to know that Jack is in good hands while I’m away. Jack loves seeing and playing with them, as he gets a lot of attention and cuddles from them.!

Devan took great care of our anxious older dog. We requested multiple drop-ins over three days while we were away. It was hard to leave him but we knew he was in good hands. She was a great communicator and provided him the love and attention he needed. Highly recommend!
Outstanding service! I don't know how they could've done better!
