Hello animal lover! I grew up with animals and my first puppy was also my first best friend. I’m that girl that has to stop and say hello when passing by a dog or a cat. If I am at a gathering in someone’s home and they have any pets, I end up paying most of my attention to them. I have a strong connection to animals and cannot imagine my life without them around me. As long as I can remember, I’ve been a dog sitter for close friends and family members. My close friends have seen the love ❤️ I have for animals and they trust me to take care of their pets when they leave town. My mom has even arranged for me to fly home and stay with her dogs while she’s out of town. Caring for animals in any capacity does not feel like work to me and if I was rich, I’d do it for free! I’m naturally at ease with dogs and cats plus I take their safety and well being as top priority! I am able and willing to cater to the specific needs of each animal and will love and care for them as if they were mine— but since they aren’t mine, I take it even more seriously! When I stay in your home and care for your fur babies, they are my priority! I charge $75 (includes rovers fees) a night for up to 3 dogs at a time. I can watch more than 3 at a time but I just charge a little bit more. And when I stay there, I’m happy to walk your animals or bathe them for no additional charge. I’ll also take good care of your home while keeping it clean and respecting your privacy. I recently completed a certificate to be an end of life Doula for animal companions— providing much needed support during those difficult decisions and transitions. Stephanie stayed at our home with our four critters for 10 days, for the second time, and it was so nice to be able to relax on vacation knowing she would do a wonderful job. She is so responsible, kind, and super skilled at winning the trust of our dogs and cats. Highly recommended!
Stephanie was great with our fur babies! She’s very responsive and sent us pics and updates during our trip. This was our first time having our pets watched by non-family, and Stephanie made us feel very comfortable. We’ll be reaching out to her again for future trips!
Stephanie stayed with our dogs and cats for three days for the first time. She was such a natural with the critters we felt comfortable with her right away. She kept us up to date each day with messages and pictures and, since our pets are our fur babies, we enjoyed a special vacation without worry. I prefer to care for dogs in their environment and like to try and keep their routine as close to what they are used to as possible. I’m extremely careful not to expose animals to anything that could be potentially unsafe. Some people may think I go too far but there is nothing more important than the safety of your pets. I can take your pups for walks as much as you’d like me to while I am at your home. I’m very playful and will get right down on the floor with your fur children, go outside and play and I do talk to them— that may be strange to some but they are great listeners! Most of all, I give them lots of love and reassure them that you'll be back.

When your dog (or cat) is in my care, I will plan our fun based on activities that you feel your doggy is comfortable with. I love to go on walks and especially love playing with dogs— they are so much fun!

Availability
When I stay at someone’s home, I’m committed to keeping the routine as close to “normal” as possible. I will find out from you how long your animals can be alone at home and accommodate that schedule. And, for those special situations where an animal cannot be left alone for any period of time— I can accommodate that as well! We can discuss all of this when I meet you for a meet and greet. 😁
