Pet care experience
Hello All, my name is Stephanie and I am a professional non profit worker. I recently found more time on my hands and would like to invest it into my passion for animal care as exercise. Animal care has always been a passion of mine since I was very young. My experience includes personal care of my own pets which includes dogs, cats, birds, fish and small rodents. My professional experience includes being a volunteer for the Silicon Valley Wildlife Center. As a volunteer, I cared for all different types of local wildlife with the intent of rehabilitation and release. I also served as a volunteer for the nonprofit organization Town Cats which is a no kill shelter for lost or feral cats. It is my opinion that pets are family and I treat every pet in my care of such. I currently help care for a adorable Frenchie named Blue, and two cats named Mouse & Whiskey!

At this time I cannot provide in home services but can travel to you. My preference would be to have as much detail as possible as to the environments, habits and routines that work best for your pet. I want to make sure that the care I provide follows a pattern of comfort they are used to, so having more info on any specialty considerations would be helpful. In my home, animals are free to roam, within areas they can always be observed. Its important to me to always know where my pet is playing so that they are not getting into things that could cause a safety issue.

Things that are important to know ahead of time. Routines, what is this pets current routine for waking up, going for walks, even walks routes they are accustom to. What is the temperament of the animal, for example are they easily trusting or skittish, shy, fearful of strangers. What are some allergies, or things that I may need to know that they cannot come in contact with in traditional care or walks.
A typical day
I like to incorporate exercise or out door activities. Of course level of activities is always tailored to the animal, with health & safety first in mind. This could be a light walk around the block to a elevated hike at a local park. Ultimately, I lean on the owner to tell me what the animal may benefit from the most before making an decisions.

Availability
I am currently working in a hybrid position for a non profit. I work from home most days which makes my morning hours and afternoon hours flexible. Evening and weekends are often open. M/W/F I am available after 5:00pm, T/THU I am available 6:00am-8:00am, after 5:00pm. Sat/Sun I am available all day. I am open to same day appointments with flexibility if it works within my schedule for the day.
