Pet care experience
I’ve had dogs all my life and also fostered dogs. I have fostered dogs with special needs and loved and cared for them like they were my own. We moved from California to Tennessee about 3 years ago and while living in California I ran a doggy daycare out of my house. A typical day would include 5/6 dogs. I realized nothing made me happier than working from home and having all those fur babies run and around and play while I worked. Animals are therapeutic for me in so many ways. They bring so much joy and laughter to our homes. Right now I have 2 very friendly dogs that get along with all animals.. a 4 year old lab and a 3 year old rescued dachshund/terroir mix. I’ve also had chickens, rats, birds, cats and ferrets! I love all animals equally and care for them as if they were my babies. I’ve cared for dogs with special needs that are on daily meds (seizures, kidney failure and cancer). I love to home make my dog food and treats. In our home dogs are equally as important as our children and are allowed on furniture and are involved in everything we do. My daughter (age 9) is very good with dogs and is great at getting all of their energy out by playing ball, chase, reading them stories etc..we go on family walks at night with our two dogs.

Our Cockapoo, Rowdy, came home a tired pup… yay! This was his first time away from home overnight. Stephani texted us pictures and we could see he was doing just fine. The playdate/meetup prior to the overnight stay was very helpful. Great experience!
Stephanie and her family took great care of Dioge, and treated her as one of their own. This was the best experience we've ever had when boarding her, which pretty frequently.
Stephani (& her family) is the best! She is so patient and understanding, which we value since we have a young dog who is still learning with lots of energy! Our pup has a hard time leaving when we pick him up - bc he has such a great time and feels right at home. We are so grateful to have found Stephani and highly recommend her!
Stephani was just amazing with my dog. She was easy to communicate with, and we just felt so comfortable leaving our pet with her. We will definitely use again.

I have a fenced in backyard my dogs have access in and out of the house most of the day to play outside and/or go potty. The dogs typically tend to follow me wherever I go. They are included in everything we do around here. I work in the back room facing the backyard and they will all lay around my desk or in the sunroom where they can still see me. Most dogs that come stay with us don't want to leave. We have tons of dog toys laying around the house so we typically spend our day playing fetch with toys and running around the backyard.

No breed preference just want to make sure dogs are non aggressive with children and other dogs since sometimes i have multiple dogs here at one time. And potty trained.
A typical day
Playing ball in our backyard (weather permitting) walks around the neighborhood, my dogs love to chase and play tug a war around our house, during summer we have our pool open and i know a few of the dogs i currently watch love to swim.

Availability
I work Part-time from home so I’m typically home all day long unless I’m picking my 3 year old up from daycare 2 days a week. My husband owns his own business so he's home a lot of the time too and has a lot of flexibility.
