I got my first dog, Starr, from the humane society when I was ten. She was a majestic Siberian Husky and German Shepherd mix. I felt such a strong bond with her, where I got to experience the unconditional love of a dog and therapeutic effect of their hugs and kisses. I continued to have a few more dogs growing up, most of which I raised from puppy-hood. I didn't get a dog of my own (as an adult) until 1.5 years ago. My dog is a 3 year old Aussie/Blue Heeler named Audrey. I have always loved dogs, and honestly, if there's ever a dog at a party, I'll gravitate to the dog more than the people. I would love to have more dogs in my life and help people at the same time!
