I’m an elementary school teacher with a very flexible schedule during the summer and major holidays. From September to June I’m hard at work educating our youth :) and not available for doggy daycare or walks during the week. Your pup is welcome to come stay during the week while I’m at school and my dog, Leila, will keep them company until we get home at 4:00. I’m happiest when I’m surrounded by animals and nature. As a child I was constantly rescuing baby birds and injured critters, which continues today. I’ve captured sick raccoons, drove an injured barn owl in the front seat of my car, hand raised wild orphaned mice and rescued countless stray cats and dogs. There’s no way I could turn my back to an animal in need. I was raised with cats and dogs my entire life and I can’t imagine a life without them. As an adult, I’ve had many animals of my own. I was also a foster mother for five years and helped abandoned dogs find loving, forever homes. I understand that it can be stressful for you and your pet while you’re away. I’m not only very loving and compassionate, but also extremely organized and responsible. I will make it my personal mission to help ease the stress for you and your pet while you’re away. I’ll love them like they’re my own.
