I am NOVA native and a dog lover who has over a decade of dog and cat experience; with extensive dog training, dog-walking, pet fostering, and pet sitting experience. I offer socially distanced, masked pet care to keep your family safe. I'll treat your pets as though they were my own, and give plenty of photo and video updates so you can be sure your furry family members are safe and sound. Stefanie is awesome!! She took care of my 2 cats in my absence. Her communication was great and I loved getting the pictures. She's very knowledgeable on pet health issues and since both of the kitties had eye issues, I was extremely comfortable that she could handle it. I will definitely ask for her assistance when I travel again, both Arlo and Pip really seemed to enjoy her company.
I cannot express how wonderful Stefanie is! She went above and beyond. You can tell she really loves and cares for animals. I highly recommend Stefanie and will definitely be booking with her more in the future!
We haven’t ever had pet dogs. However Stefanie has cared for our kitties numerous times over the past many years. And we have also observed her caring for other people's dogs in the past. She adores all animals, and has always been very keen to care for others’ beloved pets. Stefanie is a very responsible, highly intelligent, enthusiastic and creative person who not only provides wonderful care as a sitter and/or walker, but also makes it fun for the pets while their “parents” are away. Ever since we’ve known Stefanie, she has always had pet dogs and cats, and has always taken great pleasure and joy sharing her life with them. Stef is a housesitter we highly recommend. When we went on vacation last year, she watched over our cats and senior dogs. She medicated the golden oldies and took great care of the cats, too. Shes been available to help dog sit on weekends since the pandemic started, and she was very respectful and wore a mask in our home. -W

I have two decades of experience experience cat-sitting, and own three cats myself, so even the shy cats usually warm up to me. I currently foster and volunteer for PWC Animal Shelter, and have fostered cats for Fancy Cats Rescue Team and FOHA in the past. I can provide house sitting services or regular food/water/litter services on an as needed basis for when you have to leave your kitties at home, and I'm able to administer medication to cats.

Your dog's safety is my number one concern. Because of that, my most important stipulation for boarding dogs if that they MUST be dog friendly or dog-neutral. They won't have access to the cats, so cat friendliness doesn't matter, but our dogs' safety is my number one concern. Boarding dogs who are dog aggressive can't be accommodated here. I regularly manage dogs with resource aggression (food, toys, etc), finicky dogs, dogs with medical concerns, and dogs who need extra mental and physical stimulation, but I can't endanger our dogs' safety. Thank you for understanding.
A typical day
Playing, training, and snuggles are the name of the game at my house! My Doberman works for her meals and goes on a run a day to keep her mentally and physically stimulated, and your dog will love how much fun we have!

I work from home and would describe my schedule as flexible. If you have an ongoing need for pet care that I can fulfill, that's something I can accommodate as easily as sporadic visits. Cat, dog, and House-sitting Availability: Monday through Sunday with advanced booking.
