Pet care experience
My first friend in life was my Golden Retriever Jasper. I have had many best fur friends in my life following Jasper. Since moving to San Francisco, I have missed the love, companionship, and routine of having a pup. Friends and family have relied on me to walk and care for their pups on multiple occasions. I am experienced with dogs of all sizes and abilities (blind and paraplegic). Please share the privilege of walking and spending time with your pup(s)!

Stefanie kept our two golden doodles for an in-house stay while we traveled out of town for our wedding. She was such a blessing to us given how important this time away was. She stayed in contact, sent us lots of pictures of our pups, and took excellent care of our girls. I would recommend her for any type of pet care!
Stefanie is the first person I think of and reach out to when I need someone to watch my dog. Happy is a 3 year old shih tzu who can be both pretty needy and jumpy around other dogs (especially big guys). Despite that, Stefanie was one of the few people who was able to be a dog whisperer and immediately connect with him, calm him down, and take him on walks and control him. Every time he sees Stefanie, Happy gets so excited now because he developed such a strong friendship with her and loves her deeply. I know that anytime Happy is with Stefanie, he is in such good hands.
Stefanie is an experienced dog owner and handler with more than 15 years of experience. She is familiar with both large breed dogs (she previously owned a Malamute) and small-mid size dogs. She is a professional of the highest order but above all else, a true dog lover. You will never have to worry about leaving your dog in Stefanie's care. Well, that is true unless your dog ends up liking Stefanie more than you. Very likely. :)
Stefanie is the best dog sitter! She has watched two of our quirky fur friends. Our bulldog was needy and nervous and had to be watched carefully with other dogs. Our current poodle mix rescue is a completely blind, old, slow dude. She handles each dog’s situation perfectly. She doesn’t NEED to dog sit. She does it because she genuinely loves dogs. She’s a great dog sitter and an even better person. Your dog will love their time with Stef!

A typical day
I love exploring the Presidio! From the Mountain Lake dog park or the plethora of trails in the Presidio, I absolutely love my neighborhood! Some of my favorite walks include Lovers Lane, the Bay Trail, Battery to Bluffs, and the Lincoln Steps. As a former college soccer player, I’m also happy to take your pup on a jog if needed. My favorite run is on Lake Street and ends at China Beach. Your pup will be love our walks and appreciate the local splendor and beauty of the Presidio. As a former college soccer player, I’m also an avid runner and would enjoy the companionship of a dog to help with my training and pacing for any active pups!

Availability
I am currently working full time in a hybrid WFH /office model, and will be available most week nights and select weekends for walking. Prior scheduling is required is kindly requested when possible!
