Dog Lover | Work from Home

Pet care experience

Hello I'm Stefanie! I grew up with an amazing dog for 14 years who taught me about love, friendship, and loyalty. I have loved animals since I was very young, and throughout the years I have pet sited for many friends and family. (What better way to spend your day than with a fur friend, some sunshine, and some fun?) I am very lucky today because I am able to work at home. This allows me to give pups the time and attention they need, and take care of them fully. Special Skills: Rubbing bellies Scratching ears Photography (Love taking doggo photos)

We were very happy to leave our doodle with Stefanie on our vacation. She made sure to know his daily routine for walks and treats and was very considerate. She was good at sending daily updates. Our dog was happy and normal when we returned!

What is there day like? What are their meals? How often and how much? How many treats do you give them? How many walks do they take and for how long? Do they have any special tendencies? Anything to share regarding their personality? Di they have any medical issues? How do they tend to walk outside? Are they distracted by other animals or do they pull? Do they have any issues with other dogs? Have they ever shown any signs of aggression?

A typical day

There are many fun activities that can take place with the pets that I watch during the week or weekend. Below are just a few! Outdoor Adventures: Take dogs for walks in nearby parks, trails, or dog-friendly areas. Let them explore new sights and smells while getting some exercise. Playtime Sessions: Engage in interactive play with toys such as balls, frisbees, tug-of-war ropes, or interactive puzzles. This helps stimulate their minds and burn off excess energy. Training Sessions: Use positive reinforcement techniques to teach basic commands or tricks such as sit, stay, shake, or roll over Snuggle Time: Spend quality one-on-one time with pets, giving them plenty of love, scratches, and belly rubs Treat Time: Use treats as rewards during training sessions or simply as a special surprise.

Since I work from home, I have a flexible schedule, and fitting pet care into my routine is fun and super rewarding. Morning Routine: Start the day with feeding, walking, and playing with the dogs. This helps them burn energy and sets a positive tone for the day. Work Time: During your work hours, ensure the dogs have access to water, toys, and a comfortable space to rest. Take short breaks to let them out for potty breaks or a quick play session. Lunch Break: Use your lunch break to give the dogs attention and another quick walk or playtime session. Evening Routine: Wind down the day with another feeding, a longer walk, and some relaxation time. This helps the dogs settle before bedtime. Throughout the day, keep an eye on the pup for any signs of discomfort or behavior issues. Adjust your schedule as needed to accommodate their needs and ensure they receive proper care and attention.
