PLEASE NOTE THAT I ONLY OFFER MY SERVICES IN THE CORNING-PAINTED POST AREA. *FEAR FREE CERTIFIED* Like many others, I had a variety of pets growing up (dogs, cats, birds, hamsters, fish, etc.) I've always had a special place in my heart for animals. I have been a full time Veterinary Assistant at the local SPCA for just over 15 years now and absolutely love it! I oversee the care of all of the animals in the shelter, from vaccinations to medications, I do it all. I currently have 2 dogs of my own- chihuahua's- who are my world. I have dog sat in the past for family and friends prior to joining Rover. And while there are good boarding facilities around, nothing beats the comfort of home for your fur-baby. Stefanie was wonderful! She was extremely accommodating, gave our pup tons of love and exercise, and he came back so happy. She also gave us the sweetest holiday gifts! I can't recommend her enough for dog sitting. <3

Our time finding a sitter…we were nervous as it’s hard to trust your baby with a stranger at first. To say Stefanie went above and beyond is an understatement. I had AGONIZED for months over leaving my cats for 10 days for first time since 2019. My old sickly cat not only put on weight but everyone got all the mental stimulation and treats they would have gotten had we been here all along. Aside from taking care of their emotional and basic needs. My cats are messy AF and she left the place spotless, even taking the trash out and sweeping up all their litter mess, even scrubbing up all the other messes cats can be known for. My kids all loved her to bits, even our dogs.. she will be our go-to sitter for sure!

A typical day
It's whatever the dog is into! Short walks, long walks, just running around in the yard. Fetch/tug. Enjoying a kong or puzzle game. Lounging on the couch watching Animal Planet! The possibilities are endless.

I do work a full time job Tuesday-Saturday 8:00AM-4:30PM. I am available for drop in visits both before and after work as well as overnight stays.
