Pet care experience
I'm a high school Religion teacher and recent PhD.c. Last year I was on educational sabbatical, but I'm back to full-time, in-person teaching now... a long as that safely lasts in our current health culture. I love animals, and teaching only 10 minutes away from home... so I can get back to my own "zoo-ful!" I have almost 45 years experience handling Rotties and GSDs, as well as smaller breeds, including Schnausers and Chinese Crested. I also have been a "crazy cat mom" all my life, and enjoy working with both other mammals AND reptiles! We currently have two lovely female GSDs, Delilah & Phoebe, who are fantastic at sharing their toys and space. They aren't jealous, and love to both play and show off their fenced yard to new friends! My husband, Brett, and I also are the beloved/tolerated parents/human servants to two Maine Coon cats (Tobias & Naomi), and a Tonkinese (Amateratsu). Most recently, within a year and a half off one another, our beloved Rottweilers -- rescued separately -- Benjamin and Haizel, unfortunately crossed the Rainbow Bridge at ages 14 and 6. I especially miss bringing Ben to school functions with my students, who loved to greet him and give him huge hugs and hand shakes! Losing him motivated my husband and I to sit for other dogs in our home. We adopted Haizel shortly after the loss of Ben... and were training her as a certified therapy dog. However, she was both HW+ and dealing with overcoming breast cancer and the related treatment (as a former puppy mill momma!), and it was too much for her... her spirit was greater than her physical health. Your four-legged fur babies can come for safe sleep-overs without worry, playing in the fenced yard and snuggling up in the house... as long as THEY do NOT attack cats... AND are NOT "JUMPING CLAWERS!" Otherwise, I am very happy to come to your house! As a professional educator in the Commonwealth, I have all of my clearances... not necessarily a concern for your precious fur babies themselves, but you can rest assured that your property is safe in my hands! (I actually teach Moral Theology!) PLEASE SEE MY BIO/EXPERIENCE. I am happy and willing to work with most scheduling needs. However, M-F, I AM currently back in the classroom from 7:15 a.m.-3 p.m. There are very few weekdays/opportunities for "wiggle room" on this outside of weekends and holidays while school is "in session." Reviews
Stefani was fantastic with Kylo all weekend! She sent plenty of pictures and treated our dog like family. Wry thankful for her!
Stefani really took care of Finn as her own. I appreciated all the pictures and updates from her while we were away. He played with toys, cuddled and seemed very happy from the pics I saw! He seemed to get along with one of her dogs also
Stefani did a great job and sent pictures of our dog to keep us updated!
She's a huge dog lover! Snickers felt so adored at her home. Will use Stefanie again for sure.
