Hello there! Most of my familiarity and knowledge with dog sitting comes from my experience with caring for the beloved pets of my family and friends over the years. Throughout my whole life my family and I have been dog people, so I have been able to grow my skills within grooming and with educating myself on their characteristics and needs. I aim to treat my clients dogs as I would with my own dog.

I would love to know what type of personality a dog has before sitting them. It is nice to be prepared before hand if, for example, to know if they are a high energy dog, so that I can prepare rigorous activities for them. Or to know if they are a non social dog, so that I will be cautious of not taking them to areas with many other dogs /people.
A typical day
When a dog has myself as a sitter, I will make sure to first become familiar with the closest parks and walking areas to take them to. The day at the park can consist of a game of fetch or a run. Since south mountain is close to where I stay, I do enjoy taking my own dog on hikes. So that may be an option as well. I am also familiar with dog friendly restaurants and stores for a night out in the city!
