Looking for Canine friends
Pet care experience
Previous dog owner. I've had a dog for 15 years and considered her a family member. I love to hike and walk and play with dogs. Two years ago, I nursed a dog back from a serious injury. I had to give him IV's, medicines and feed him with a syringe for a week. I also don't mind giving baths and combing them daily.

Stacy loves dogs! We live across the street from Stacy and my dog adores her. She calls our dog her grand-doggy. She frequently takes our dog out for walks and always spoils her with treats. Any time our dog escapes, she runs straight for Stacy's house and begs until she can be let in. I think she would live with Stacy if she could. We have also left our dog with Stacy several times while we were on vacation. We had absolutely no worries while we were gone. We knew our dog would be well taken care of and loved and she was. We are grateful to have such a wonderful neighbor and friend and our dog is too.

I live near a large open spaced park and hiking trails. I have a fenced in back yard and there are several dogs in the neighborhood who like to visit. I have an 11 year old son who is dying to have a dog but we are going to enjoy other people's dogs for a year before we committ to our very own.

We love our small dogs and owned a shis tzu and a chihuahua so we are very familiar with those breeds. We have a questionnaire that we have each person fills out so we can immediately know your dogs needs and wants.
A typical day
We enjoy lots of walks at our house but also enjoy our time petting or combing the pets. We have a large back yard and giant park. There are a lot of other dogs in the neighborhood if social time is what your dog wants .

Availability
I am a stay at home mom and I'm looking for a canine friend to walk, hike, and enjoy a good movie with. I'm home most of the days with exceptions of grocery shopping and car pooling with neighborhood children. I'm flexible with schedules and don't really have to be anywhere during the days or nights.
